Question: What do others say about Destination Wilderness vacations and guides?

"I had the time of my life. Your guides treated me like royalty. Anything I needed I got. I can't speak more highly about it. My expectations were high and you exceeded them."
D. Silverlight, Heart of Norway Adventure

"The best vacation we ever had as a family. Susie and Syringa were perfect for us. I don't think you could find any better people to guide us down a river. We just had the very best! We could not have had a better time. We want to go with you to Ecuador this year!"
M. Nocera, Main Salmon River Journey

"This trip was the best vacation I have ever been on. I was able to completely relax and enjoy myself. I actually forgot about everything...now that's a truly great vacation. The animals on the trip were amazing. The osprey catching the fish, the deer that came into the camp at night, and seeing the bear on the last night. The guides were great. The food was great. The scenery was great. Everything was great! I will definitely repeat this journey. The experience will stay with me for a lifetime."
N. Kliewer, Rogue River Journey

"The Raft, Draft and Cast package is great for those looking for a moderate adventure. The microbrew tasting at the hot spring resort was a great way to unwind and enjoy the forest!"
J. Sinobio, Raft, Draft, and Cast

"It was nice to step outside normal day-to-day things and unwind. Everything was well prepared even though I was a late arrival to the trip. I really enjoyed all of you guys. I felt right at home. You were all relaxed and easy going. It was an adventure and I think that says it all!"
S. Pearl, Rogue River Journey

"An excellent trip! The guides were excellent, knowledgeable, and fun. They really enhanced the trip! Great scenery!
K. Dodd, Iceland Adventures

Question: What do I need to bring?

Generally, you need to bring personal camping gear, a set of clothes that you want to keep dry, and a set of clothes that can get wet. A complete packing list is available for each of our wilderness vacations. By the way, camping on a river trip is the most deluxe camping of any outdoor adventure. Rafts can carry thousands of pounds of gear, so we carry enough to make sure everyone has appropriate and enough gear for a comfortable outdoor experience.
